Next Generation Co-Production Impact Scheme

LSSI are pleased to announce the third call of the Next Generation Co-Production Impact Scheme, which will offer an opportunity for Early/Mid-Career Researchers to pursue opportunities to develop research impact in relation to co-production research tackling societal challenges.

The scheme will fund novel and creative ways to promote co-production approaches based on co-created research themes that engage with communities, social transformation, and public policy.  Each award will be for a maximum of £5k and applications should include at least 2 members from different disciplines, alongside at least one non-academic partner.

Awards are for a maximum of 9 months and projects will commence on 3rd November 2025 and end no later than 31st July 2026.  Award recipients will be allocated a mentor who will be matched from our community of Co-production Impact Mentors.  (We have a list of colleagues at the University of Leeds who have generously offered their mentorship, we would like the award recipient to select two mentors from the list provided, and we will try to match you with one of your two choices).

An online briefing session by Professor Gehan Selim was held on 31st July 2024, if you would like to watch the recording, please email lssi@leeds.ac.uk.

The call is now open and applications to be received by Wednesday 8th October 2025.

Full details of the call and the application form can be accessed here.
