Impact Acceleration Account Review Team

The IAA Review Team is a vital component in our work, reaching decisions on which applications to fund, where to prioritise resources and proactively seeking to foster new inter-institutional linkages. The IAA panel consists of academic representation from the Faculty of Social Sciences, LUBS, Environment and Arts, Humanities and Cultures, Engineering and Medicine and Health. The IAA panel also includes external (non-academic) representation from leading professionals in the region working within the voluntary, public and business sectors who are sympathetic to the aims of embedding research evidence in policy and practice and fostering stronger links between the academic sectors and those working in professional services and policy delivery.

The panel meets four times a year. Panel members are sent applications to consider two weeks before panel meetings, which are held online. If a panel member is unable to attend a given meeting we are able to include your comments in panel deliberations if written comments are sent in advance.

If you would be interested in becoming an IAA Panel Representative please email Cheryl Harris (LSSI Institute Manager c.a.harris@leeds.ac.uk) or Professor Louise Waite (LSSI Director l.waite@leeds.ac.uk) to discuss further.
