Professor Gehan Selim

Gehan is Deputy Director of LSSI.  In her role, she has responsibility for supporting interdisciplinary research excellence across the humanities and social sciences research by leading the Co-production Network at LSSI and sitting on the IAA Award Panel.

As the Hoffman Wood Professor of Architecture, she founded the Architecture and Urbanism Research Group at Leeds. Her research interest spans Architecture, Urban Politics and Digital Heritage, focusing on Memory, Post-Conflict Urbanism and Community Engagement in the UK, Europe, and the Global South.
