Could your research have great value for social impact - but you are unsure how to harness your ideas and achieve a revenue?  Have you wondered whether your research could generate its own income and sustain further research and impact?

Through funding from the Impact Acceleration Account, Leeds Social Sciences Institute is pleased to be able to offer resources and funding for researchers whose projects have elements of social science, and who are considering commercialisation opportunities to deliver greater impact and societal benefit.

LSSI in conjunction with Oxentia have developed a guidance document to help support all social scientists at the University of Leeds to help them navigate the different routes to commercialising research.

The document will guide you through the different routes to commercialisation and the intellectual property rights that exist.  The guidance provides details of support at the University to help you on your commercialisation journey.

LSSI are pleased to offer early-stage enterprise and commercialisation funding awards of up to £3K, with projects running for 6 – 12 months.  The scheme will provide proof of concept/proof of market research to validate the concept and establish the best enterprise pathway that would be most beneficial.   To find out more click here.
