LSSI is delighted to announce that Katie Barclay and Alison Lundbeck have joined the team as of July 2018.

Katie Barclay - Communications and Graduate Coordinator

Katie is new to the University of Leeds and has joined the LSSI as Communications and Graduate Coordinator. Katie will also be working to coordinate the White Rose Doctoral Training Partnership. Coming from a Higher Education background, she has previously worked in Student Recruitment and Postgraduate Communications and Events. Katie is very excited to be working on innovative and creative ways that the LSSI can communicate its work.

 

 

Alison Lundbeck - Research and Innovation Development Manager

Alison joined the team in July as Research and Innovation Development Manager for LSSI. Alison has a varied educational background, including both natural and social sciences, and has extensive experience in supporting cross-institutional research, knowledge exchange, impact and strategic policy implementation in the Higher Education sector.

Alison will be supporting cross-disciplinary research and innovation within and beyond the social sciences. This will include the development of new interdisciplinary networks and large and complex research grant opportunities. She will support the development of interdisciplinary and international collaborations, including with external partners in the public, private and third sectors. As part of this work, Alison will support large scale project
multidisciplinary development and bids to a wide range of UK and international funders.
