There is an exciting opportunity for projects to be co-funded through our ESRC Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) and the Integrated Catchment Solutions Programme (iCASP). Projects must fit the remit of both programmes to be considered for joint funding.

iCASP is an ambitious and exciting programme to generate benefit for Yorkshire by applying environmental science to catchment challenges. iCASP are interested in projects that explore: reducing flood and drought risk; improving the resilience of cities to climate change; preserving valuable areas of peat in the moors; developing sustainable agriculture; and devising business cases for greener city developments and making more space for water. You can find out more about iCASP via their website.

If applicants to the IAA are interested in exploring a co-funded project with iCASP, they can declare this on their IAA application form for consideration.

Co-funding of IAA projects is also possible with the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and the Science and Technology Facilities Council (FTFC) IAAs. More information about co-funding can be found on page 4 of the below guidance document.
