Dr Sahla Aroussi

Sahla is Deputy Director of LSSI.  She has as a main responsibility supporting the LSSI internationalisation portfolio and activities.  

As an Associate Professor in Gender and Global Security Challenges, her interests lie at the intersection of gender politics and peace and conflict research, with a particular focus on gender-based violence in war and humanitarian emergencies, gender in conflicts and peace processes, and The United Nations' framework on ‘women, peace, and security’.
