WRDTP Postdoctoral Fellowships Awarded to Leeds Researchers

Date

The WRDTP is a collaboration across the social sciences at the Universities of Leeds, Sheffield, York, Bradford, Sheffield Hallam, Hull and Manchester Metropolitan, which was accredited by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) in 2016.  As one of the partner universities, we are pleased to announce that two postgraduate researchers who applied through the University of Leeds have been offered, and accepted postdoctoral fellowships commencing later this year.  The successful applicants will have the opportunity to develop their publications, networks, research and professional skills.

Kelly Lloyd's research area involves using behavioural science to prevent cancer in populations at higher risk, and Alex Pearl's research addresses how enabling support can improve financial living experiences and inclusion for disabled people.

Professor Felicity Matthews, Director of the WRDTP commented that "The standard of applications across the board was extremely high, so this is an impressive achievement. Warmest congratulations!"
