We are pleased to share a new video to showcase the Routes programme, a collaborative initiative delivered in partnership with the Universities of Sheffield, Leeds and York as part of the White Rose Doctoral Training Partnership (WRDTP).

Routes is an enterprise support programme aiming to support social science PGRs and ECRs to explore alternative routes for their research and practical ways research can be developed beyond academia. Routes is the first of its kind to be offered across the WRDTP.

Bethany Suggett, a third year PhD student from the University of York and one of the winners, explains how Routes provided the opportunity to transfer her PhD research into business.

Routes was funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) via the National Productivity Investment Fund: Accelerating Business Collaboration.
