LSSI Impact Acceleration Account Showcase – 21st February 2018
The Leeds Social Sciences Institute (LSSI) Impact Acceleration Account Showcase was held on 21st February 2018. The LSSI has supported over 40 impact-related projects through its Impact Acceleration Account (IAA), which is funded by the University and aligned to the ESRC IAA. The objective of this event was to provide a forum to showcase the breadth and depth of the impact that social sciences research focused on and to celebrate the success of impact projects supported through the LSSI IAA. The event hoped to strengthen and build on existing relationships and to facilitate new connections with external partners including businesses, policymakers, practitioners and third sector organisations across the Leeds City Region – notably with regard to the opportunities presented by the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund.
