Join us for a lunchtime drop in session on Monday 30 March to discuss upcoming funding and training opportunities available to Leeds Social Scientists, in order to enable more effective engagement and collaboration with business (such as the Impact Acceleration Account (IAA), placements, training, industry focused workshops and networking).
The Leeds Social Sciences Institute has recently been awarded specific funding from the Economic and Social Research Council to deliver opportunities to build the capacity and capability of social science doctoral students and early career researchers to engage with business.
We would really like your feedback about how we can develop this funding to best suit your needs and research in order to maximise the potential activities for PGR/ECR requirements. This session is primarily aimed at doctoral researchers and early career researchers in the social sciences but all are welcome to attend if you would like to find out more.
The session will run from 12.00 – 13.30 but please feel free to drop in anytime. A short presentation will open the session at 12.10 and lunch (pizza) will be provided!
