This seminar is part of the 'Linking Leeds' series; developed as a collaboration between the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), Leeds Social Sciences Institute (LSSI) and Leeds University Business School (LUBS) in order to help foster richer connections between the academic and policy worlds.

The Linking Leeds seminar series provides the opportunity to hear from leading social science researchers as well as make connections with analysts, strategists and policy makers from the Department for Work and Pensions and other organisations.

The speaker at this event will be:

  • Dr Ghazala Mir (School of Medicine, University of Leeds). Ghazala's presentation will be on "Variations by Group - How can we reduce ethnic and religious group inequalities in the labour market."

The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session.

If you have any access requirements or any further questions about the session, please contact LSSI Communications Coordinator, Katie Barclay (K.barclay@leeds.ac.uk). If you are interested in presenting at a Linking Leeds seminar, please contact LSSI coordinator, Hannah Crow (H.E.Crow@leeds.ac.uk).
