Leeds at COP27 – Reflections

After two weeks of fierce negotiations and countless conversations, COP27 in the Egyptian city of Sharm El-Sheikh has come to a close.

As an official observer of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, the University of Leeds sent a delegation to COP27.  These researchers spent an intense time at COP27, presenting their research, meeting key stakeholders and observing the negotiations to provide accountability.  They have returned to Leeds with new experiences and deeper insights into the COP processes.

At this online event, members of the University of Leeds delegation will speak about their experiences at COP27, share their thoughts on the negotiations and reflect on their own participation. There will be ample time for questions from the audience.
