LSSI Event: Impact Acceleration Account Showcase Event

The Leeds Social Sciences Institute is pleased to host the Impact Acceleration Account Showcase Event on Wednesday 21 February 2018.

The objective of the event is to provide a forum to showcase the breadth and depth of the impact that social sciences research focused on celebrating the success of impact projects supported through the LSSI IAA. A further aim of the event would be to strengthen and build on existing relationships and to facilitate new connections with external partners including business, policymakers, practitioners, third sector organisations across the Leeds City Region. It is primarily aimed at local and regional partners who have a shared interest in tackling the issues faced by society such as inequalities, migration, and security. It will create an opportunity to engage with our external partners and to highlight the relevance and broad impact of social science research on society and the economy and to share experiences of being involved on impact focused projects. The Institute will also use this as an opportunity to celebrate the many meaningful relationships and collaborations between our academics and external partners.
