The Leeds Living Lab and Leeds Social Sciences Institute are working collaboratively to present a workshop designed to provide information about the Leeds Living Lab and facilitate the development of interdisciplinary social science Living Lab projects. The workshop will provide a chance to learn about various opportunities arising from the collaborative working of the Leeds Living Lab and the LSSI.

Proposed Programme:

12.30 - Lunch and networking

13.00 - Introduction to the Leeds Social Sciences Institute and the Leeds Living Lab (Professor Karen Lucas- Deputy Director LSSI, and Dr Louise Ellis- Director of Sustainability)

13.30 - Case Study: Trialling and evaluating the impacts of the Mixed Ability Sports Model in a University setting (Dr Jen Dyer)

14.00 - Workshop 1: Current areas of research interest - exploring opportunities for collaborative projects with sustainability impact, using the University as your test-bed

15.00 - Workshop 2: Living Lab for Air Quality (presentation from Dr James Tate)

Round table discussions exploring opportunities for research into air quality in Leeds, collaborating with currently Living Lab research partners and possible new projects

16.00 - Wrap up and next steps.
