LINK Seminar Series - A collaboration with DWP

A seminar series designed to connect academic knowledge with pressing policy agendas

Presented by DWP in collaboration with the Universities of Leeds, Loughborough, Sheffield and York, LINK is a webinar series designed to help build richer connections between the academic, policy and analytical worlds by providing an opportunity to hear from both leading Social Scientists at the University of Leeds and other universities as well as prominent analysts, strategists and policy makers from the Department for Work and Pensions.  The series is open to all DWP employees (in any role) as well as university staff and students. LINK host seminars from a range of perspectives including early career researchers and more established academics on a wide variety of topics relevant to DWP’s work, such as the ARI for example. The aim of the series is to share ideas, stimulate discussion and build links between DWP and academia.

The webinars are hosted online via Microsoft Teams and consist of a 30-45 minute presentation followed by a 15-30 minute Q&A/discussion session.  Visit our 'Events' page to view future events (and look at past events).

* Link Seminars was formerly known as Linking Leeds. The name has been updated to reflect the wider range of university partners engaged in the series with DWP, and we are also open to new collaborations.

If you are a University of Leeds researcher and interested in partaking as a speaker or attendee, please email lssi@leeds.ac.uk in the first instance who will help to facilitate contact with the LINK team.
