The Working in Partnership showcase, held on 8 May 2019, examined the components of successful research collaborations for both industry and academia. Case studies from the Universities of Leeds, Sheffield and York were shared, demonstrating how strong relationships have been developed in areas related to the industrial strategy.
This was followed by a high-level multi-stakeholder panel on how organisational innovation can create business growth and improved profitability. Senior representatives from industry, academia and government debated how innovation in leadership and management practices, skills development, and employee well-being can help drive better business.
